The Importance of Wellbeing for Productivity

Do you feel productive when you’re tired, angry, frustrated, or stressed? How much more can you accomplish when you’re well-rested, satisfied, and happy?

I’d say quite a bit. (That’s certainly the case with me.)

And if that’s the case, shouldn’t we treat rest, sleep, and happiness as major components of productivity and give them as much attention as we give to learning, optimizing our workflows, and creating efficient systems?

We certainly should.

And today is a good day to start.
