How’s the Weather?

A front of a building in snowy weather.

The weather, contrary to human belief, is never good or bad. The weather simply is; all its types are beneficial for someone and not ideal for someone else.

It is us who give the weather meaning. And even that’s not consistent; kids will experience snow in the backyard quite differently from how their parents experience snow on the road. The parents might be frustrated that the traffic is slow or difficult while the kids are enthusiastically thrilled.

The same applies, of course, to everything. Just because we view something as bad doesn’t mean it’s bad for everybody.

Try to see if you can shift your thinking and find something good in the negative things you’re experiencing. You might find that the weather is not as bad as it might initially seem.
