Don’t Be Attached to Your Plans

Your plans, regardless of how carefully put together, will eventually fail. You won’t be able to meet the deadline, you will realize a capital flaw that you didn’t address, circumstances in the market will change, or you’ll stumble upon an unexpected obstacle.

When this happens, accept it, and change your plans as needed.

A plan should be a rough guideline, one you can throw out as soon as it stops serving you.

And, of course, don’t let this be an excuse not to ship.
