Seek Feedback

Five people examining something on a laptop.

Feedback (especially critique) is incredibly valuable.

It can help you understand how to improve, where your shortcomings are, and what your next steps could be.

But you’re not always going to get it automatically. You need to seek it out. Ask, encourage people to share their struggles and worries, and whenever they do, thank them and act upon their comments.

They will be grateful that you did, and even more importantly, you’ll be grateful you did.
