Don’t Underestimate the Power of Momentum

An opened journal on a desk that tracks the following habits daily: journal, do yoga, meditate, read more, and face yoga.

Things change dramatically when you gain momentum or create a particular habit.

After I published 100 articles in 100 days, publishing one hundred and first was a no-brainer.

I’ve been practicing Hungarian 730 days in a row; not practicing today would make me feel weird and uncomfortable.

With 365 poems written in 2020, writing 365 in 2021 doesn’t seem like a real challenge.

And the reason for all of this is momentum. It might be challenging to get it, but you’ll operate on an entirely different level once you do.

Start, push through the initial difficulties and challenges and then continue riding the momentum—you’ll get a lot further, much easier than you think.
