Be Honest

A person taking a nap on a sofa.

“I want to write a book, but I’d rather watch a movie instead.”

“I want to start a company, but I’d rather hang out with my friends instead.”

“I want to learn something new, but I’d rather take a nap instead.”

“I want to create something meaningful, but I’d rather browse social media instead.”

Admitting something like this is incredibly difficult, but it’s the first crucial step to uncovering your true motives and limitations. Once you understand your habits, you can improve them, eliminate them, or replace them with better ones.

Be honest. You owe it (at least) to yourself.
