Winning an Oscar
After winning an Oscar, the only way from that point on is down. There’s nothing more to accomplish once you conquer the highest peak available in your field.
But it’s not about reaching the top or accomplishing more; it’s about enjoying the process, making a difference, or even just having fun.
If you approach it this way, it doesn’t really matter if you can’t improve your Oscar-winning performance; the only thing that matters is that you enter your new role with the same vigor, passion, and dedication as you always have.
And you might learn something along the way, even if you don’t find a new mountain to climb.
PS. This, of course, doesn’t only apply to acting, but to your chosen profession as well.
